Lovely stay! Room was a good size, with small suitcases. Large bathroom. Nice amenities, breakfast was decent. Super location, very close to Nishiki Market, and Gion District. Great value!

The Oakwood in Kyoto was my absolute favorite stay in my whole Japan trip. The staff, room, & amenities provided were all excellent. Everything is walkable from there with a 7/11 nearby & a hot spot where you can explore the neighborhood & surrounding areas for shopping, restaurants & bars. The staff was friendly & was able to attend to all my needs. Next time I come to Kyoto I'm definitely booking here again. Thank you so, so much to the people & staff @ the Oakwood Hotel in Kyoto

They were very friendly and helpful. The whole staff spoke English! They took care of all of our needs! Also after joining the loyalty program. They let us check in couple of hours early and check out late at no cost! Very nice of them to that for us!

My stay at the Oakwood Hotel Oike Kyoto was excellent. The location was a short walk to multiple shopping streets, food spots and subway lines. We were able to grab a coffee and pastry on a 20 minute walk over to Nijo Castle in the morning before check out.

The hotel located closed by all the shopping streets and Nishiki Market. You can go the downtown Kyoto in walking distance. There is a local public bath right around the corner. The staffs were helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet had enough choices considered this is a boutique hotel with exceptional price. Will definitely go back. Thank you

This was a great property, in a wonderful location in Kyoto. It was easily accessible to bus, train and metro travel and also walkable to many places such as Nijo Castle, the Gion district, Nishiki Market. Spoiled for choice as far as places to eat being close. The staff are quiet and kind, I was really impressed with the breakfast room staff who were friendly and on top of keeping everything fresh and tidy. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly also. Breakfast was very nice, enough options and some different options daily. It was nice to have access to free drinks through the day too. My room was spacious and so comfortable. The beds, linens and pajamas were soft and very clean. My room was spotless and had everything I could need. The shower was the best ever, I will miss it! Overall, my stay was awesome and I highly recommend this hotel. I hope I can stay again one day.
