"La Galerie" is a superb 1867 estate dedicated to well-being and sports, certified by the Fondation du Patrimoine (Heritage Foundation). Located a stone's throw from the town center of L'Aigle, which is served by the train station (Paris-Granville line). It features a magnificent enclosed wooded park crossed by the river, with a 200m² pond stocked with fish for fishing enthusiasts (rudd, trout, carp, roach, etc.) and an ornamental pond (ducks, koi carp, donkeys, and llamas), both of which are unenclosed. The owner resides discreetly on-site.

The cottage can be rented for 6 or 12 people (G804), but never to two different guests on the property.

He undertook major works while retaining the original elements to revive the buildings that have been more or less abandoned due to successive inheritances. The remarkable dovecote dates from 1877 with its zinc niches. The "Swiss Chalet" aspect of the main house is totally atypical of the region with its pointed roofs, awning, wooden balconies and valances. It is representative of the "hygienist" houses of the end of the 19th century, to attract Parisians in search of fresh air, greenery and pure water in an atmosphere worthy of the Swiss mountain pastures!
