This hotel is located near the revitalized riverfront so the location was great. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were helpful and kind. The room was really nice as well. I would stay there again if I had the opportunity.

Great location

The room was spacious and the location of the hotel is perfect. It's within walking distance to everything downtown, restaurants, bars, coffee shops. The park and the river are right there.

When we arrived and checked in dlshwasher was working. We left for dinner and came back after 3 hrs and it was still working. Another thing is air condition was not working and they put a replacement inside the room. That was so loud and we couldn’t sleep. Breakfast is so so, nothing special. Don’t expect much. Pool is so small, we decided not to use it. 3 star is for location.

The staff was very attentive and kind. The lobby was beautiful, and the continental breakfast was convenient and had plenty of options. The hotel is an older hotel which could room updates, but the staff kept it clean. Th counter space in the bathroom was virtually nonexistent, and the bathroom had no ventilation (fan) for the humidity control while showering. Parking was convenient and it was a nice walk down to the walkway on the green and also beautiful walkways around the area.

Great Stay at Grand Stay

The bed wasvery comfortable, kitchenette was excellent as we needed ice and the freezer made plenty! The location was great being a block from the riverside park and walking distance to the Freight house restaurant and La Crosse Distillery.

Overall was clean and comfortable, average. Disappointed in breakfast they served hash one morning. I don’t think many people would eat that. Better option and more in stock would have been nice. By 8:30 am they were out of plain bagels and regular cream cheese. Making sure items are amply by 9:30 am would be nice. We were not able to use the poll for our entire stay due to a fecal incident. Disappointing and no compensation.
