Christopha, holiday house with private pool

Hidden in the southwestern French countryside, in the tranquil Quercy region, surrounded by green pastures, you will find Christopha. This old family farm was modernized into an open and light spacious house with open plan kitchen and light living-room and of course the not to be forgotten lovely outside private pool. Behind the classic country facade, you will be surprised by a contemporary interior with modern furniture.

Inside
On the ground floor of the main house you will find a large living room where you can light the chimney in winter and where it stays nice and cool in summer. Adjacent is the dining space and further on the well-equipped open kitchen. Furthermore, there are 4 spacious bedrooms with double beds upstairs and 2 bathrooms of which one is en-suite and the other one serves the 3 other bedrooms. 2 Toilets, one downstairs and one upstairs. There is one extra room with a desk, if you want to travel abroad.

Outside
(in the totally fenced garden), there is plenty of space for everyone to sunbathe, swim in the fenced private pool, dine or simply relax in the shade or the sun. Outside you will find a large terrace with an outdoor kitchen next to the pool. Get fresh produce from one of the markets in the area and light up the large gas BBQ. This is a great place for the whole family to enjoy a unique and peaceful retreat in France.

Environment
Within a 5 minute drive there is a good selection of restaurants along the Vézère River, 18th-century formal gardens in Eyrignac and a beach on the large lake in Larche. A little further afield is the old town of Sarlat as well as Montignac and the famous painted caves of Lascaux. The large town of Brive is ideal for shopping and has a golf course. Antique fairs can be enjoyed in the little villages, or purchase locally grown produce from nearby farms. This makes the ideal property for visiting Dordogne or just relaxing in the sun.

Location: 2km S of Terrasson (shops, cafés, restaurants, fishing, gardens, canoeing, tennis, cinema), 12km from Larche (beach on lake), 15km E of Montignac (caves, canoeing, river), 20km from Salignac (gardens), 20km W of Brive (shops, golf, airport, nightclubs), 40km N of Sarlat (museum, restaurants).
