The room was clean but there are some bugs like ants in the bathroom shower. Breakfast is great and it’s just okay. Beds aren’t super cozy, but you get what you pay for. Close to town and that’s nice! Visit Rodriguez soda up the road for a treehouse dinner experience from a family business. Walkable and worth it.

Staff were terrific and the place was clean. Very convenient that our room had a fridge. It would have been a nice touch if was plugged in in anticipation of our stay. Breakfast was good but similar comment to most of my hotel stays in Costa Rica, it would be nice if it started earlier or at least coffee was available earlier than 7am. Many people were going on early morning excursions which meant not being able to take advantage of breakfast.

We enjoyed the breakfast, it was prepared with care and had a great variety. The property grounds were well keep with lots of foliage for privacy outside the window and overall beautification by the pool area. We had a family room with corner windows, it was large and quiet. The pool was simple but met our needs. Parking and check-in was easy. Overall, we would recommend this place for a relaxing option within walking distance of the busy city.
