This is an outdated hotel. It needs major renovations and upgrades. In the model of the night, there is a foul odor the woke is up. The water is not potable and is nothing like the picture.

Everything was going well until umit was time to check out, I had to flight out early in the morning so I did my check out the night before. As I was leaving they came to me trying to charge me for the bill I had paid the previous night. They were not letting leave because of that, so I had to go back to the room and show them the receipts along with my credit card charge. Very unprofessional, they should of have some sort of communication, not keeping hostage when they had the wrong information.

Food and the beach was the best part of the resort. The 2 main things I would upgrade about this resort is modernize the rooms and late night food options. If those 2 things change would be an excellent peaceful resort.

The hotel felt safe and the room had air conditioning which it was it was very comfortable. The person that checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The hotel provided two towels in the room and both towels were smelly and looked very warned out. I asked for newer towels but I was told they didn’t have new towels that they all were the same -old. I had to use my clothes to dry my hair and body. Restaurant service was super slow. It took over an hour for a cheese hamburger to be served and once the food was delivered the waiter didn’t check in. Not many options available restaurant/food in the hotel or near by so you’re kind of stuck with the food the hotel serves if you don’t have your own transportation.

Pros- The resort was really nice, the rooms were clean and the housekeepers came every day. The pools were nice and the beach was beautiful. The food was good it was a nice variety mix of food from El Salvador and food from the states. Cons- There was no hot water in the showers. The resort was far from everything over an hour from the city and about 40 minutes from the airport. It was really hard to get Ubers or delivery services there because of how far it is from everything. The resort stops serving food at 8:30 pm and all of the nearby restaurants close around 8/9pm. The restaurant and bars don’t take your payment right when you order, they get your room number and charge you at the end. I think the resort would be better off charging more for the stay and make it an all inclusive resort versus having you pay at the end, we had to kind of keep track of how much we were spending at the resort. Overall it was nice stay and we’d definitely stay there again, it’s just a few things I wish we knew before arriving like we’d be better off renting a car than struggling to find a uber and transportation services, no hot water, and no food/drinks after 8:30. It was still a nice location and surrounded by a lot of the culture. It was enjoyable and we made it work.
