When we arrived, we were given a room with boxes of leftover food, some sandals on the floor and many bags of condoms, after we brought this up to the staff, they said that they had cleaned the room and forgot to take those things out. My wife and I were very uncomfortable with the situation and requested a refund after we didn’t even get an apology. No refund was given, and the staff was not helpful at all, I drove almost 2 hours and had to drive 1:30 hours back to a different hotel. Fortunately the Expedia team was very helpful and after unsuccessful attempts of talking to the hotel staff, they awarded us the credit back. Never staying at Tesoro Beach!!!

The room really made the hotel terrible. Initial room smelled like mold and it felt moist and no hot water and bottom of the shower curtain also had mold on the bottom of it. We got switched to a different room when I raised the concern but the other room was the exact same. Didn’t sleep comfortably but other than that the amenities weren’t terrible
