While my stay was decent. I did pay for a balcony room and was given a standard room. There is no need to pay for a balcony room because all of the rooms have balconies. The balconies were unflattering, very very very small unless you book the corner room. The rooms are also outdated. My family booked multiple rooms here this weekend and it was OK!

A little noisy outside, late at night. This was not the fault of Marriott, but some inconsiderate Saturday night individuals near the property. Overall the hotel was nice, staff was very friendly.

Rooms are very outdated and the drapes had a burn in them. Hotel food not so good. Starbucks down he street is better. Staff is really very friendly and accommodating. The fridge wasn’t working and hey sent someone super fast to get it done. Excellent service and attention. Great location.

This property is conveniently located near UCSD and within walking distance of the outdoor mall. We stayed in a two-queen bedroom with a small balcony. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
