Peaceful location

We had a great stay at La Tour Saint Gelin. The gite is ideally situated and is a great base to go and explore the many attractions in the area. We had a great time playing the monument game in Chinon castle ; we also visited the stables of the Cadre Noir in Saumur, the Bioparc in Doue-la-Fontaine and the public gardens in Richelieu. The gite is situated in a peaceful hamlet, overlooking fields and the area is a great spot for birdwatchers (little owls, hoopoes, Montagu's harrier, great grey shrikes, zitting cisticola, ...). The owners, Dominique and Lydia, were very helpful and friendly and the whole family had a lovely holiday.

Super séjour à la Toussaint

Accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée, une maison extrêmement agréable, très bien agencée et très propre. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille. Le seul petit point à revoir est à connexion Wi-Fi.

Wunderbare Gegend für Schlossfans

Innerhalb kurzer Fahrzeit gibt es viele wunderschöne Schlösser zu besichtigen. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gepflegt und praktisch eingerichtet. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und eingeführt. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig. Wer es gerne abgelegen hat ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Wir können dieses Haus nur empfehlen.

Agréable séjour en Touraine

Maison idéalement située pour visiter les châteaux de Saumur à Chenonceau. Maison très agréable décorée avec goût dans l'esprit de Noël, un feu de cheminée était prêt à notre arrivée ainsi qu'un vin de la région, gâteaux et confiture maison (excellente). Propriétaire très sympathique qui met tout en oeuvre pour que l'on se sente comme à la maison. Literie et linge de toilette de qualité. Nous recommandons cette location.

Agréable et calme

Nous avons passé un excellent moment en famille, maison très jolie, agréable, pratique et fonctionnelle. Rien à redire. Conforme à sa description dans l'annonce. Extérieur paisible et terrasse très pratique et confortable. Endroit très calme avec de nombreuses visites à effectuer aux alentours. Château de rivau, forteresse de Chinon, Azay le rideau, Richelieu juste à côté. Très bon séjour.
