The property was very warm and comforting and villa we stayed in was spectacular. It was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great, a lot of variety all of which tasted great, a very nice start to our days in Lagos. Definitely would stay again, in fact our experience at Ancora Park is a big reason why we are thinking of coming back to Lagos!

Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and pool area very nice. Breakfast buffet was delicious. I would only suggest that at the breakfast, the staff might clear the used dishes from the table, a minor issue but would be appreciated. Had higher expectations considering the ratings on line. But here’s where they do not warrant a 5 rating. We had a one bedroom suite with kitchen setup. Sofa wax stained, no tv in bedroom, you had to supply your own toilet paper and coffee. Okay maybe the coffee but toilet paper? Been to many places over the years and this was a first where we had to buy our toilet paper. Bed was very poor quality, need their mattresses updated. Beautiful pool and pool area but the loungers are in terrible condition. We tried the buffet dinner on our last night and although great variety, food quality is subpar.

The property is beautifully landscaped and the pool is the gem of the property. The restaurants had fresh healthy and a variety of delicious options. The cocktail menu and wine selection was excellent. The staff from the room attendance, servers, bartenders and hospitality staff are outstanding which made our stay at Hotel Âncora Park very comfortable and enjoyable. Also, we liked that it is very family friendly with a pool for children and changing tables for families with infants. Highly recommend this hotel and the restaurants. We definitely will return and bring our entire family.

Had a wonderful stay at Âncora. The room was very spacious and clean. The pool is huge and was always a peaceful place to relax. The walk into Old Town is a little far, so we used uber/bolt to get around. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation. It’s within walking distance of spectacular beaches!

We’ve stayed previously and the rooms have had a really good refurb since then. Pool area and bar has also been massively improved since 2018. New hotel block has been built and it’s more a 4* now. Only issue was construction work daily from 8am till late at an apartment block right next to our bungalow, we were block B. Constant angle grinding and drilling, such a shame but once the building is complete, you won’t have an issue, other than being overlooked from the balconies. The area has developed with lots of new building so not a quiet as we remembered, but location is convenient for the local beaches at Praia Mos and ponta de piadade. Centre of Lagos is about 20 mins walk. Overall, would recommend if staying in Lagos
