On our way to the property the day of check-in, the property manager called to inform us that our two-night stay (which had been confirmed multiple times by the property) was being canceled due to a two-week booking that they had just received. They offered us another location over an hour's drive away. Needless to say, that was not an option for us. We were forced to get three hotel rooms to accommodate our five adults. We are still working with VRBO to finalize our refund. VRBO has not been very helpful or accommodating (quite frustrating!). The entire experience was unsettling, disruptive, and unprofessional, and it had a significant negative impact on our weekend. I would not trust booking with this property in the future - ever!
