The hotel had a very odd design and was a bit awkwardly situated, right next to the I5 freeway. There was no one at the front desk to check another fellow and myself in so I had to go searching for someone to do this. After about 15 minutes (at 5 PM!) a guy came up and checked us in. The room was okay and fairly large. There was a lamp placed in front of the TV that blocked part of the screen for one bed, and would have blocked about half of it for the other! I could not move it due to the cord. All around the facility were marks and chips out of walls, that sort of thing. I had to go outside to find the ice machine! Not a terrible stay but not great either, so about 3 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised at how large and modern my room was. The pillows for perfect and the sheets soft. I loved my little patio seating. I would definitely stay here again for business trips in the future.

Great location, newly renovated rooms, close to Irvine Spectrum, Disneyland, Laguna Beach, Dana Point and Newport; very centrally located. Hotel staff is excellent and helpful. Also great food downstairs in restaurant.
