Excellence- amazing setup around the hotel swimming pool, restaurant and reception area. Great idea to progress pop corn( they are yummy too), staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a variety of good options. We have a 2 queen bed room down the end of 1st floor. The tatami beds are good, room is of good size and the bathroom is functional. Air conditioning works well. Free local snacks and bottled water daily.

Such a lovely hotel. Great staff and lovely facilities - a little oasis in Langkawi. Walking distance to Cenang or Tengah beach or a cheap taxi ride. Pool facilities are beautiful and breakfast great. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay amazing.

Welcoming and efficient staff. Renovated building and common areas. Rooms facing the back have rural outlook and an infinite pool. Breakfast is excellent. Ii’s a 20 mins walk to the beach. Langkawi itself is bit run down, as if its golden period had past.

Clean nicely maintained room with the most comfortable bed I have had in Asia. Staff is awesome and super friendly. The pool is very nice and large enough to acomodate the guests comfortably. The only drawback to the hotel and it’s not their fault, is that it is about a 15 minute walk to shopping. That being said 15 min. Walk or 15 ringgit grab cab that is there in a few minutes and you are on your way.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bayou. It is a really nice setting, and the pool an absolute highlight with plenty of sun loungers. It was lovely to enjoy a cocktail by the pool, and complimentary popcorn in the afternoons which was a nice touch! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms very clean. We looked forward to breakfast every day! It had an excellent selection with some new options each morning, so delicious. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again - we stayed 8 nights but would have loved to stay longer!

The Hotel is getting old now, however the rooms were still very clean. It seems like the lobby has gone through renovations recently. The staff were exceptional and all so friendly, I cannot thank them enough. I would rather have stayed here than a $2000 a night hotel somewhere else on the island.

Had an amazing time in Langkawi. The hotel was very nice. The bed was big and very comfortable. breakfast was amazing had lot of options including fruits. staff were kind and friendly. Room got cleaned every morning. The hotel provided bottled of water every morning. The hotel was near the beach and the night market. Thank you for a lovely stay

Lovely friendly welcome by the staff and continued to be super friendly and helpful. Hotel was lovely- pool fantastic an great views too. Breakfast was good with plenty of selection. Room was quite small and compact for 2 people. One of our cases had to lie on the floor and no ‘physical’ wardrobe- just a rail with about 4 hangers on so that was disappointing. Shower was great and didn’t want to get out of it. Food and drink were good- did only eat on the first night but was good. Aside from the size of the room we had a great stay here. Many thanks
