Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan offers 290 air-conditioned accommodations with laptop-compatible safes and free newspapers. Rooms open to balconies. Pillowtop beds feature down duvets and premium bedding. 42-inch LCD televisions come with premium cable channels. Bathrooms include a separate bath and shower with a deep soaking bath and a rainfall showerhead. Bathrooms are also outfitted with bathrobes, slippers and bidets.

The rooms were huge. Bed and beddings soo dreamy. Cleanliness of property, friendliness of staff , always willing to help and accommodate, amazing food and drinks especially the Aka and the Ñ specialty restaurant. Btw, your bfast buffet is out of this world!!! Celebrated my birthday there and was overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness of the staff with the balloons, several cakes, bottle of wine, and birthday greetings and well wishes! Thank you so much, Crimson for an awesome birthday week celebration!!!

Everything was amazing! Got the private pool villa and my husband was enjoying the villa guests' perks (especially the cocktail hour). The Crimzone was fun though our baby was still so young for it. Food was awesome and the staff was so friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely come back here! Highly recommended.

A great option

I spent a night here and easily could have stayed longer. The foam pool party was fun and the DJ played good music most people would like. Most importantly the music was played at a tolerable level for enjoyment and relaxation and couldn't be heard on the beach a short distance away. The room was lovely and comfortable. The food and drinks are more expensive than elsewhere in the Philippines but I presume are typical resort prices that are always inflated.

The room and barhroom are spacious. Sink is lower for adults but excellent in height for kids. Twin beds are not really comfortable but the king bed is excellent. Breakfast buffet is 7/10. Best thing about this resort is they have complimentary drinks on the minifridge: 2 canned juices, 2 canned beers and 1 dried mango.

Beware or Be aware!

Poor service! Cart is their means of transportation to go to rooms yet hotel staff incharged were discriminating or letting guests who can ride first according to their choice. I requested and waited and I’m local yet a foreign nationals who just arrived got the ride first. Worst, the staff when asked why, did not say anything and not even sorry for it! This happened at around 8:45 in the evening where it’s scary to walk to their maze kind of path going to rooms! VIP 20% discount as promised upon checked in were not deducted; I emailed the property but did not reply. I have to contact the expedia staf for platinum member service. This is my second review of my entire hundred + of hotel stays through expedia… This much speaks my frustration!

Excellent stay & wish we could have stayed longer. The resort is so luxurious that it is quite breathtaking to explore. The staff were friendly & caring, & did a surprise honeymoon set up in our room for our first night. This was a very relaxing, private & quiet place to stay. Direct private beach access, with 2 spacious swimming pools (each with adult & child sections with different depths). Lovely tropical landscaping that the staff were thoroughly looking after. Extensive & delicious breakfast buffet. Awesome on-site Japanese restaurant. Perfect for relaxation, families & picture perfect photography. 45 minutes trip to the city with limited complimentary shuttle trips. Prices for food, beverages, activities & spa treatments quite high.

Loved our stay at Crimson. Rooms are spacious and facilities are great. Really great resort for kids with the kids pool and amazing kids club. Breakfast buffet was also good with many options. Staff were helpful and friendly.
