I was so excited to stay at the Palms with my wife, especially after seeing the “Best Hotel in the World” sign. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but. Check-in chaos: Early check-in link failed, and then tried to switch my reservation from 1 king bed to 2 queens. Misleading upgrade: At the desk, I was offered a suite upgrade for $75. I asked if it had a hot tub—the receptionist nodded “yes.” There was no hot tub—just a basic shower. Room condition: Hot, musty, greasy face marks on the windows, food stains on the couch, no robes, slippers, or laundry bags, and the fridge was locked. Bedroom had no airflow and no A/C vents. Pool humiliation: At 9:30 a.m., doors were locked. At 9:50, a staffer let us in for photos only. Within minutes, other staff rudely kicked us out—even when we calmly explained we were just taking a picture. When I asked one, “So if we leave and walk around, the pool will be open by then?” he replied, “Pretty much.” That’s how we were treated—as a bother. Slow service: Blackjack dealers were kind, but it took 45+ minutes to get offered a drink. We paid over $400 for this room? No thanks. We ended up spending the rest of our weekend at another resort with friends, and the contrast in hospitality was night and day. Never again. All hype, no heart.

We booked the resort but was overbooked and we were transferred to Palms Place which I think is nicer. They addressed all our concerns and we didn’t have any problems. Our stay was perfect not to mention the free parking space!

So let me say this first Paige at the front desk nothing short of amazing….the hotel it self was overrated they charge you for damages before damages can occur….food in the hotel was okay the movie theater was nice they don’t have fridges or microwaves in the rooms so bringing food back to your room is not even a thought i wouldn’t book here again

Staff was great. Front desk very good as well as bell man. Very friendly. I like the smaller hotel just my preference. If I was to say something I wasn’t a fan of was pool. Not very many seats and second pool wasn’t open so made it there was absolutely no chairs. And wasn’t a busy day as well

Excellent hotel! The pool area is absolutely wonderful. The casino was super clean...didnt notice a lot of cigar or cigarette smoke. Employees very nice and professional. Our king room was super nice, the bed comfy and bathroom shiny clean!!! Eateries were plenty. Excellent coffee and pastry shop by serrano cafe. We had the lobster buffet...id give that about a 5 on a scale 1-10.(not worth the 80.00 per person). We definitely will return to this property. 🎰😎
