We were charged a 700 smoking fee and dont smoke. We were not notified of any problems during our stay. We were in the room only to sleep. We were with family out of the Casino the rest of the time. The room was dirty and smelled. the hallway smelled strongly of both weed and cigarettes. I had a humidifier in my room due to the weather, did my hair with heat protection which, which smokes, shower steam. I found almost 100 other complaints for the same reason. 700 fee for people who do not smoke. This is ridiculous, fraud, and theft. I will pursue legal action if needed. I have stayed here dozens of times as a local.

My 5 th time staying here at the STRAT! This was the best visit since I began coming here! The cleanliness and staff and beautiful landscaping was A number one! The laundry service was excellent and room service/maintenance was superb! This is one tight ship in Las Vegas a true old school Iconic gem cannot wait to come back and I haven’t even left yet lol!

Urgent: Request for Refund Due to Unacceptable Stay at The STRAT (June 2–4) Dear Management, I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at The STRAT Hotel from June 2 to June 4, 2025. My experience was far below acceptable standards for any hotel—let alone one that presents itself as a reputable establishment. From the moment I arrived, the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming throughout the property, including near my room, despite the hotel’s stated policies. Furthermore, the noise levels were unbearable, continuing late into the night and preventing me from getting any meaningful rest. This was not a one-time disturbance—it was constant, loud, and unacceptable over both nights. I did not receive the basic expectation of a quiet, clean, and comfortable environment to sleep. I’m extremely disappointed and feel that the conditions were so far below standard that a full refund is justified. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to share my experience through public platforms and review sites to warn others. I would prefer to resolve this matter directly and respectfully with management, but I am prepared to escalate if necessary. Please advise on how you will proceed regarding the refund.
