The hotel itself was clean and well-kept, and inside everything was fine. The pool setup wasn’t ideal for tanning — most lounge chairs were in use by people enjoying the pool, which is understandable, but it made it tough to find a spot unless you were swimming. Not a deal-breaker, just not great for sunbathing. The real issue was the surrounding area. Outside the hotel felt unsafe, with a heavy presence of homelessness and drug activity, and it didn’t feel comfortable walking around the property. That alone makes us hesitant to stay here again, even though the inside of the hotel was fine.

I arrived earlier than expected and was able to check in early with room upgrade, enjoyed the pool and food/drinks, the room was clean with a Mountain View. I forgot my headphones and thankfully Strat found and mailed them to me. Enjoyed my stay and will book again.
