NOT as Advertised!

The residence was clean and new, but the beds and bathrooms were awful! Although it said it slept 4, the small bedroom had a twin and trundle bed (that was cleverly disguised in the pictures). The “mattresses” were not even mattresses, but more like pads. Sleeping on the trundle bed was impossible as it slide across the floor. The sheets were paper thin and so were the 4 towels. No washcloths were to be found. The bathroom sicks were tiny and the showers were like cruise ship showers, not okay. Other properties we have stayed in at Hocking Hills had luxurious sheets and towels. It’s the little things that make all the difference. The outdoor area leaves much to be desired. Additionally, the area is not the nicest. I would definitely not recommend this property.

New and Clean but needs a few fixes

The property was new and clean. *Beware of the porch handrails, they need to be sanded down or you will get slivers. *Beware of the shower doors, the water goes out onto the floor in both bathrooms. *The beds are new but very hard. *They had a few towels even though it said they had none. *They do not have a coffee maker; they have a Keurig. *The water pressure in the sink was very minimal. *The main shower had no shower head it was like a mist. *The other shower worked fine. *The fire pit needs to be cleaned out it was full of wet logs. Bring a shovel.The view from the back porch was really nice at sunset.

Great visit

The property was clean and exactly as described. It was on a dead end road, so there was minimal traffic going past the house. It had everything we needed (aside from the towels but that was fine). I never got a response back when I notified the property manager about a carpenter bee in the beam above the front door, but other than that the property manager was very responsive with messages.

Beautiful country night skies. With the actual property, turn the shower heads to the wall! Or the you will puddle the bathroom. Everything else was great.

Hiking trip

We had a great stay. Very clean and stocked with supplies. Not too far from the state parks. The only negative comments I have are the steepness of the driveway ( luckily we had 4wd) and the terrain around the house is a little rough. Overall seamless experience!

This place is literally in a cut-out hillside surrounded by overgrown tall weeds and dirt. No grass. Hard beds and futons. Showers leaked water into bathrooms every time and had to clean up after showers every time. Poor design.
