In Auvergne, an hour and a half from Clermont-Ferrand and Lyon, in the heart of Le Puy-en-Velay, at the foot of the cathedral recognized as the starting point of the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago), lies the "L'évasion Ponote" guesthouse.

You will stay on the first floor of a historic building located on a lively pedestrian street. The bright apartment is a true haven of comfort.

Inside, you can visit the many monuments of Le Puy-en-Velay, stroll through the remarkable Saturday market, and enjoy the proximity of all amenities.

Nearby: Discover the village of Polignac, the "Bois des Seigneurs" (Lords' Wood), or the "Pinatelle du Zoauve" (Zoauve Pinate).
A little further afield: Explore the many hidden gems of the Haute-Loire region: the Mezenc plateau, the gorges of the young Loire and Allier rivers, and the town of Brioude with its remarkable basilica.

The accommodation does not have private parking. Upon arrival, a few short-term parking spaces are available on Rue Pannessac (20 minutes maximum). For day parking, we recommend the Saint-Laurent parking lot, in a green zone (until 8 hours). For stays of several days, we suggest using the long-term parking lots near the train station or the park-and-ride facilities. During the summer months, the street where the gîte is located becomes pedestrianized. You can then access the nearest parking lot, Place du Marché Couvert, located approximately 50 meters from the accommodation, particularly useful for dropping off your luggage. Please note that parking is limited to 20 minutes. Located on the first floor of a building on a lively pedestrian shopping street, this 35m² apartment is divided into two areas:
The living room, equipped with a kitchenette, dining area, and lounge (with a well-made sofa bed), a toilet, and an entrance.

The bedroom, furnished with two single beds (80cm) that can be joined together, offers direct access to a bathroom with a vanity unit and shower.

The building is secure.
The apartment is located above the Gîtes de France® Haute-Loire agency and shares a common entrance with other apartments.

The all-inclusive rate includes: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and trash removal), heating, and electricity with reasonable consumption – if the apartment is heated by electricity, you have 15 kWh per day included (any excess will be charged to the hosts on site).
