Summit Sunset at Powder House Pass is the ultimate vacation getaway for those seeking a blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience in the heart of the Black Hills. This pet friendly cabin is perfectly located just off the main highway, offering easy access via fully paved roads and garage parking for a hassle-free experience.

Designed with both space and convenience in mind, Summit Sunset offers one of the best parking setups in the area, including a 50-foot driveway and a shared community overflow lot just across the street. Whether you're traveling with trailers, recreational vehicles, or extra cars, you'll have plenty of room to park with ease.

Enjoy the deck and patio area great for sipping your favorite beverage, grilling on the natural gas grill, or unwinding in the hot tub. Indoors, the cabin features a cozy but modern atmosphere with 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and 1 half bath, ensuring plenty of room for relaxation. The open concept design makes it an ideal space for gatherings with family and friends, and the large windows provide an abundance of natural light.

Guests at Summit Sunset also have exclusive access to Powder House Pass' community amenities, including a year-round heated pool, fire tables, and a game room. In the summer, enjoy the additional outdoor fun with a larger pool and splash pad available from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The community building also offers a game room, kitchen, and outdoor patio to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Stayed here for a girls weekend with a few friends. The home and surroundings are beautiful and worked great for us. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. I had a question before the stay and messaged through VRBO and they responded right away. This is close to Deadwood/Lead and right off main roads so easy and convenient. We were able to get a taxi int Deadwood and back at the end of the night.

Great Location. Comfy and Cute

Had a great time. Location couldnt have been better. House was super comfortable. Only con was that the hubs and I had to sleep in separate bedroom as each room only has a double bed. Didnt realize that when we booked, so that's on me, not them. Everything else was great. Weather was perfect. Neighbors in surrounding homes were pleasant and friendly. Didnt get the opportunity to try the clubhouse. Maybe next time.

Loved our stay!

This is one of the top places we've stayed at. The home was very clean and was stocked well (we were not missing anything!) - there were enough towels, linens, etc. The views were amazing, even got to see a couple dear in the early morning when having our morning coffee on the deck. The location is minutes away from Lead downtown with a small grocery store and some coffee shops, burger/pizza places, and shops. It's also about 10 minutes away from Historic Deadwood - lot's to do there! We also enjoyed Spearfish Canyon - we started from the southern part where a lot of the falls and trailheads start - a quick 15/20 minute drive. Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park are about 1.5 - 2 hours away so that was a nice day trip away - made it back for dinner. We have no complaints, which is a first for us! Loved it here and can't wait to be back.

Whole house with garage

We were so glad to have the two garage spaces and also washers and dryers in the house! You can drive around to the back of the house to carry your luggage in rather than carrying everything up the stairs from the garage. Nice location- lots of new construction going on in the development so some early morning noise.
