How does such a terrible motel exist in such a popular and expensive tourist town? These rooms have not been updated in at least 20 years. The room smelled like a locker room and the air conditioner smelled like a mouse had died inside. The room, walls, floors, baseboards, light switches, etc were filthy. There was a cigarette burn in the bathtub. I think they were selling drugs from the room next door. Lee cops were there at least 3 times during our 3 day visit. Pool not open. Ice machine and laundry not working. Way over priced for the awful accommodations.

Pool is caving in with pool cover partly pulled away. Gate to access pool area was unlocked. Hazard for children. Staff is not onsite. Room was clean, but sheets had stains. Used bar of soap left on bathroom sink.

The chemical smell in the room was overwhelming. There was no personal contact We called the number provided and was told We would get a full refund.

No one there

Wrote to them asking for early check in around 1pm for 3pm check in, no reply. Not a problem, early check in isn’t a guarantee. Get to the property 10 mins before check in and no one is there, wait around for 30 mins, no one there, no one answering in the app, no one picking up the phone. By 340 called Vrbo who canceled my reservation around 4pm the property called asked if I left, I said I did and booked somewhere else, no apology, no reasoning, just “ok” and hung up. Thankfully there was another option but if you’re not willing to have a TBD check in I would book elsewhere. Shame bc it’s a great location.
