The initial room we were given was horrifically dirty. There was hair in the bathroom, on the beds and the desk. The room looked like it hadn’t even been hoovered as there was still food crumbs on the floor. When we were moved to another room, not only was it a smaller one than what we had paid for, again it was dirty with hair everywhere. The last room was again dirty but it I was fed up with their lack of cleanliness and asked for the bathroom to be cleaned and the bed sheets to be changed, as there was makeup on them, while I was there to ensure there was at least some form of cleanliness in the room I had paid for. They initially told me at 4pm there no longer was any housekeeping and I’d have to wait till the next morning. After me persisting I could not stay in this state of a room they sent the housekeeping manager to take care of these issues. This should not happen if proper precautions had been taken.

City break

The hotel is close to Leeds train station and city centre. The hotel is very modern and was super clean and tidy. Upon arrival, staff were friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the bag storage which was super handy. Check in was fast and efficient and our room was easy to locate. The room was very large and spacious. It was clean, and tidy upon entering. The bathroom was large and bright with a good mirror. The shower had shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. The bed was huge! It was very comfortable! Included in the room was a large TV, an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, a safe, an empty mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Overall a great stay!!

Check in staff were very friendly and informative. Easy walking distance to the Royal Armouries. While I didn't reserve the room with the breakfast option, we were able to purchase it separately. In the future I would make I included it.

Great Hotel in Ideal Location

Really nice modern hotel. Friendly helpful staff and beautiful reception and dining areas. Ideal location to explore the city centre and only a five minute walk to the train station. We enjoyed our 2 nights in a King Double room, lovely comfy bed with tasteful modern decor. Bathroom very clean and powerful shower! When called for extra soaps and hot beverage things, staff were fast and generous. Would recommend and definitely be looking for Hyatt hotels more often from now on 😃

Modern clean hotel

Modern clean hotel but I could not cope with the fact that the windows don’t open I am claustrophobic and I woke up in the night feeling panicked I have never stayed anywhere where the windows don’t open Everything else is fine and a comfortable bed

Overall great experience.

The whole experience was excellent. The hotel is lovely, modern and very well located. Everything on the doorstep. The room was spacious and modern and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in was one of the towels in the bathroom had a stain on it and didn't seem like it was clean, it had maybe been left from a previous guest and in the morning I noticed a false eyelash on my bed sheets which definitely wasn't mine. If there hadn't have been these housekeeping/cleaning things, I would have given an outstanding rating for everything.
