The highlight for us were the friendly and helpful staff in every department from checking in, to the bar staff, breakfast staff and those in the Spa. Amazing hotel, adequate spa. Whilst the pool is slightly warmed it quickly turns cold and it is missing a jacuzzi badly. Service in the hotel is second to none, every meal was lush and breakfast especially good. All the staff were courteous and prompt with any request. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat, just leave the trunks at home.

Nice hotel. Modern room with a decent bed. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Disappointed to find that when you book through Expedia you have to pay extra at the hotel to use the pool and spa (£30 I think it was). I think you also pay extra for parking although the hotel waived that for us. So that why I downgraded to 3 stars (Expedia needs to make it clearer when you book).

Amazing stay for the wifes birthday - spa is really good we go to a lot of spa breaks but this is up there with the bedt food was excellent and really loved the outdoor terrace area for a drink.- a massive thanks to Skye on reception who gave us a warm yorkshire welcome and made sure our stay was the best.
