Room was changed as light not working
No quibble very friendly no problem with this
Its cheap and cheerful but will use it again very close to de montfort hall 10 min walk
The hotel is very run down on the outside and the inside. However, it is a very cheap hotel and I believe you get what you pay for. It is not as terrible as some people say, as long as you don't expect much. It was fine for a one night stay, the room was clean enough and the staff were friendly enough. Overall, value for money is great, hotel condition is bad.
The Hotel has been closed due to fire a few weeks now. No warning to say this was the case, so arrived at the hotel to find it closed and cordoned off. No way to contact hotels.com and ruined the weekend away.
From walking in, you instantly get a super warm and family feel. In asian culture we care about hospitality and we do it well, and that’s exactly what i was met by. The whole process of booking and checking in was so easy and straightforward, a great experience for my first time booking a hotel, and doing a solo trip. The room was very humble and lovely! The bedsheets smelt amazing, and the bed comfortability was out of this world!! I had the best sleep honestly. I will absolutely definitely come back here when I go to Leicester again, without a doubt! Thank you very much to them for having me :)
Room wasn't ready not for 2pm or 6om when I arrived, had get bed made while I waited.
No food or breakfast served, but the advertisement showed a lot of services which are not supported, false .

Bed was terribly soft, no phone in room, had to go down to reception to ask for another pillow
Booked a single room on Monday. Arrived at property on the Wednesday, told had no single rooms left & said can have a double but pay an extra £15 for it even though there mistake. No tv or internet, plastic cups in room & paint all over carpet.
Advice not to stay here unless your desperate.

Disliked: Staff & service
Poor
Poor and no TV!! Also no card machine so bank transfer only
Unprofessional
should not be open - or should be half price.
piles of rubbish out the front, sign completely bust, VERY basic. has been opened 6 months too early. Staff friendly but over priced for what it is. The sign of a 'bridal suite' upstairs made me shudder for any 'lucky couples' who stay here right now.
Hotel is being refitted and not advertised correctly - no 40” tv in room - not complimentary tea bagsvect - I did get a kettle on request -
I haggled a discount but would rather pay for what we need . Friendly apologetic staff tho
There was no heating or hot water in the room. When we complained we were simply told there was nothing that could be done. In many attempts to contact the hotel to speak to a manager or someone to offer a solution to this uncomfortable stay, it seems the staff aren’t competent to deal with my problem appropriately and no one seems to be bothered in addressing my complaint. I have now sent several emails and rung up everyday for 2 weeks and am still no further forward.
The room we were given was not serviced, so had to be moved ,there was dust in and on the furniture, no shower tray ,and shower head needs replacing, pillows were hard ,and only one each .Breakfast was pretty good, all in all the hotel is tired and needs a makeover. Staff were helpful
Very nice staff, clean beds, hot shower, convenient location.

Tired Budget hotel, clean and good breakfast
low price which suited me. rooms clean but very tired - dirty marks on wall paper , cupboard in pieces, worrying looking plugs. BIG issue was the night worker opened my room - the was about to let someone into the room (obviously could not find the key downstairs as i had it) and then apologies and stood outside my door laughing. BIG plus breakfast a lovely surprise - well cooked and lots of cereal options.
the room and bathroom was clean. good heating in the room. tiny towels. windows had been set top open just enough so they were not accessible from outside.
The bed was like sleeping on springs, cornflakes where like cardboard could tell they were cheap brand. No lifts. Noise by staff or other guest on the grounds unacceptable levels at 12am. Overall the hotel could do with a little tlc.

mouldy shower
Disappointing in that the shower was in a grim state, with black mould much in evidence. Did I mention it? Nooo, I'm British and we don't complain!
On the plus side, I was shown to the nearest pub by the Reception staff with much humour and good will.
