Great little house, just right for us. Peaceful location but near to facilities. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and plenty of towels and sheets. The host Liliane was most attentive and gave us good suggestions for an outing.

Wonderful experience
Amazing location; on one side the beautiful Vezere River with a grassy promenade, on the other a short walk past two restaurants up to the main street, with a bakery on one side and the prehistory museum across the street. The house is charming; it is small but the rooms are spacious. We loved the private courtyard. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. Plenty of hot water, plenty of towels. The hosts were extremely responsive to my questions. We felt fortunate to stay there. It was perfect for the two of us, a mother and adult daughter. We thought it beautiful and had a wonderful and comfortable stay.

A lovely house with 3 floors in a great location.
We loved the location with good restaurants, the Prehistoric Museum and a park just steps away. Our only complaint was “no Wi-Fi”, but they have a new washing machine. There is also a dedicated parking spot for the house.

Good location
Was disappointed that the washer was not working that was why we booked. Had to make our bed when we arrived and hunt out the towels. Site also listed bbq on-site and it was rusted and nor sure it was useable. Yard is lovely but right below a hotel patio.

Charming French Cottage
Liliane’s house is in the perfect location….across from the river and near by the town square and the center of town . It is quiet with a lovely rose filled garden and a hedge of honeysuckle. The furniture is all French country and there are nice shuttered windows. Liliane was lovely. She greeted us and she was so nice as to drop us at the hotel with all of our baggage. We had to go to the hotel because I didn’t realize we had an extra day in Les Eyzies. The house was already filled the next day. Although Liliane spoke little English and I spoke little French we were able to communicate so I would highly recommend to stay here.

Lovely vintage retreat
Easy to rent. Liliane and Gilles responded quickly to travel questions before arrival and during stay. Immediately corrected minor problems brought to their attention - cracked coffee pot and slow drain.. Beds extremely comfortable and wool blankets soft and warm. Home fully equipped. Antiques and garden delightful.
Beautifully situated by the river with gorgeous views. Sadly the beds were pretty uncomfortable but that may be just my preference for a harder mattress

Nice place
Conveniently located in the “pre-Historic” capital of France. Well maintained, friendly helpful landlord (picked us up from the train station). I would definitely use again, the only downsides to the area if you are visiting the caves are a lack of public transport and for vegetarians the lack of choice in the restaurants and the small local supermarket.

Absolutely perfect
From first deciding to book this cottage until the day we left everything could not have been better. The cottage itself is wonderful ,lots of character, (getting to open shutters each morning made my wife's week) just the right size for 2 of us and the dog and has everything you could need .Although situated in town it was so quiet yet the bakery river and cafes are on your doorstep. If like us you like peace and quiet but be near to amenities this is perfect. Checking in and out was so easy it left me amazed. Thank you Lilliane we hope to return
Very old small house well located in town and next to the river. Utterly charming!

Lovely place to stay
The cottage has everything you need. We were a little perplexed when we had to make the bed up, but it didn't stop us enjoying it. The only negative is no WiFi. Well worth staying and we would stay again most definitely.
A really great property in a perfect setting. Right in the middle of the village, with a beautiful view of the river. The house was perfect for our family’s week long visit, with our daughter loving her time in the attic. The only thing that was slightly frustrating were some missing items for the kitchen. There was not kettle for making tea/coffee, no potholders, and no dish towels for drying dishes (which was necessary in the small kitchen). There also was no handsoap available in the bathroom. Still, a really great place and very nice owners. (Also take note, that Les Eyzies has no grocery shopping options, so be sure to purchase supplies before arriving in town!)

Lovely house right in town
We had a great week here. There is a nice small garden where you can enjoy meals cooked in your own kitchen. The bed is small, really a double, with two singles upstairs. There is no WiFi, you have to go to the Tourist Offuce for that. If you’re not used to French appliances, then we wrote instructions in english to help you figure them out. All in all, a wonderful place to stay in Les Eyzies!

Decouverte de la Dordogne
Excellente situation pour rayonner dans la region. Endroit calme. La maison typique de la region est tres bien décorée. Petit hic : la très petite cuisine et l'agencement de la vaisselle si on aime cuisiner. Par ces fortes chaleurs, nous avons pu apprécier la fraicheur de la maison.
