While booking on Expedia, something went wrong and I had a 1 king standard room where I had expected a 2 queen room. So 2 big guys climbed into a big king bed, and it was - fine. Fortunately there was enough space and blanket that we weren’t bumping into each other. Room is massive, tv is tiny (fine). No pull-out in the standard king. Service was great, they weren’t able to accommodate because they were sold out and unable to adjust a third party booking. Toiletries provided were a bit weird. I’m sure in the grand scale of Hilton properties, the exclusion of parabens and phosphates is a significant gesture to the environment, but as a short-haired guy, it took a couple of applications of a lot of shampoo to wash (I know, that’s pretty petty). Overall, good property with great service.

We found the hotel to be looking a bit run down, from the weeds outside to the lack of attention to cleaning inside. For example, the floor of the elevator needed vacuuming, there was a urine smell around the toilet, and the stairwell was unacceptable. Will look for another hotel next time.

The mattress in the room I had definitely needed replacing. Housekeeping wasn’t all that great. They didn’t provide fresh towels or bedding. They didn’t clean the inside of the fridge. I’m not sure they vacuumed either.

Found the sheets very thin and pilly. Prefer thick, crisp sheets. Would be nice if carpet & tile was cleaned & vacuumed in the room (found a balled up sock under the lounge chair). Positives: Staff were very friendly. Girls at front desk were helpful & friendly. Check in & out was very good.
