Lost a Guest

KY residents beware, this hotel charges a $100 non-refundable deposit and "they don't like" when you put it on a credit card and prefer it be in cash. I've stayed at this hotel quite often over the last 10 months travelling for work, but will not be staying there again. Yes, I understand the reasoning behind the deposit, but I had to have enough on my card for the full room charge, an additional nights stay charge (charged prior to check-in), and the $100 deposit for being a KY resident. This is just too much for an average hotel. The person at check-in was so quiet that I could barely hear them. This was not any of the usual people that are there when I check-in. I will say the hotel is fairly clean and most times the staff are friendly/helpful. Just be aware of the deposit charges and having enough to cover those as they can take 3-5 days to refund to your account depending on your bank.

Bad Odor

Either our rooms wa previously used by a smoker who never left the room, or the hotel apparently uses a bad version of Febreeze that just smells horrible. I’m guessing that it’s a bad odor covering spray, as we smelled the same odor when walking by other rooms. Eggs at breakfast were usually watery. They need more than 1 trash receptacle in the breakfast area. At least the bed was comfortable.

Good Ecomony Hotel-way over-priced pet fee.

All good for an economy stay. Only significant thing was a very loose toilet seat (almost falling off). But we had the same issue two weeks ago on our visit, so maybe it is a standard feature 😎

Property seems to charge appropriately for what you are getting. The Hotel was clean and just your average hotel, clean room to sleep and be on the go all day. Breakfast was very basic but ok for price you paid per a night. Front counter employees are VERY nice and helpful.
