Upon check out, usually, there is staff @ checkout asking”how was your stay?” NONE EXISTENT! Thot it was unusual, just an FYI. Also, popcorn usually available to guests, due to late ck in, desk clerk advised fresh popcorn would NOT be made. How does that represent the property?

The manager on duty was awesome. Very accommodating for the need to change rooms, made popcorn and cookies for the guests to enjoy for dessert, and very pleasant and hospital…which is hard to find theses days. The room was comfortable and clean, except the carpet. Walk on it with bare feet and it leaves ur feet colored with dirt. Need to do some deep cleaning on that or replace with LVP. Otherwise everything else about it was great.

Clean and comfortable

The room was very clean and comfortable. We arrived during a bad storm and the front desk provided us with tornado instructions. We did end up having a tornado warning and waited it out in the breakfast area. Staff made sure everyone was comfortable and had the weather info running on the tv.

Booked this hotel partly because of pool and hot tub. I'm on vacation - I want to soak in the hot tub, get some laps in the pool! When we checked in, we were told that they are both closed for maintenance. Didn't see anything in the Expedia app about pool or hot tub closure, even though the management tried to convince me that it was there. Had I known the pool/tub were closed, I would have booked one of the 5 other hotels on that street. We stayed 4 nights, and the pool did open on the last night before we left. Additionally, we booked a room with a kitchenette, hoping to make some meals ourselves. There was nothing to cook with or eat with, no pots, no pans, glasses, silverware, kitchen utensils, absolutely nothing! Spoke with management about it and they said they do not provide any of that because people steal it. What? There's a kitchenette in the room, but nothing provided to use it? Every other hotel we've stayed at that had a full kitchen or a kitchenette, was stocked with plates, glasses, pans, pots, silverware, utensils, etc. so you can prepare meals. Management offered to scrounge up a a pan and a pot, a couple of bowls, some forks and knives, and a spatula so we could cook. We got them the next evening - felt like we were asking for something extra and that they were doing us a special favor getting us some things to cook with and eat. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, the woman working the breakfast was often overwhelmed, although she was very nice!
