The room was nasty! It smelt like cigarettes and mold, the sheets were stained, the headboard had what looked like some form of dried fluids on it, and the carpet was stained and dirty. We immediately went and reported it to the front desk and asked for a refund but was told he could just give us another room. We did not want another room due to how nasty the room was they gave us originally, because if they kept that room as nasty as it was, another room would be no better. We booked through Expedia and asked for a refund and Expedia informed us the Hotel would not approve a refund. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Comfort Inn staff was super friendly. Breakfast was really good and the 6am start time was great since we were leaving early. Would highly recommend.

Even though this is an older hotel it was clean and quiet. The hair dryer didn't work but fortunately it wasn't a life and death situation but I would check those out. It was a little dirty around some of the outlets. But overall I would stay there again.

I am the business owner, and I traveled from out of town with the sole purpose of enjoying a swimming pool. When I questioned why the pool wasn't heated, the staff unjustly accused me of cursing at them in the early hours, despite the fact that I was in my room at that time. They then forcibly removed me from my hotel room, giving me a mere 15 minutes to pack my belongings and leave. This level of disrespect is unacceptable, and I have never encountered such poor treatment in my life. I work with numerous businesses in credit card processing, and this has been the worst experience I've ever had. My worst hotel stay ever!

I was woken up after midnight by someone unlocking my door with a key card. Fortunately, I had locked the deadbolt which kept them from getting in but it didn't stop them from trying to force the door open. I yelled at them to back off that the room was occupied. A few minutes later they were back with the night clerk trying to force the door open. Again I yelled at them to back off, the room was occupied. The night clerk ordered me to leave my room as though I had broken into it and to come to the front desk immediately. He kept repeating that order after I said I had to get dressed first. It turns out they gave the same room to two sets of guests. Instead of fixing the problem, I was told I was in the wrong room because I used a third party to book my room and that I belonged in another room. I refused to pack up and leave my room in the middle of the night. At that point the clerk finally changed their system to show me in the room THEY had assigned to me. When I went back to my room to go back to sleep, my key card had been deactivated and I couldn't get back in. After that was finally resolved, I never received any sort of apology for having put me through a very upsetting ordeal. What if I had not engaged the deadbolt lock? Or if it happened while I was out to dinner but all of my stuff was in the room? The night clerk, even if he didn't cause the problem, should be sacked for how he handled it. This hotel is not a safe or secure place to stay!

Prince Patel is an amazing host. Wonderful hotel.

I stayed at Comfort Inn on April 15th due to a early doctor appointment the next day. I live 3 hours away and was by myself. I had a couple of special requests due to my health condition. Prince Patel made me feel like family. He had no trouble accommodating my needs. He checked on me everytime i came out of the room. The hotel was very nice. The indoor pool looked really invitng but i wasn't able to get in. The breakfast was great also. I look forward to staying again.

College tour weekend

We came to tour Transylvania University and this hotel was perfect for our needs! Beds super comfy, but the pool was chilly. Breakfast was what you would expect and they were quick to refill when things ran out. Great service!!
