The Beebe House is a beautifully updated historic home located on Main Street in downtown Lexington. It`s perfect for those in town for W&L and VMI events and both campuses are easily walkable! This completely renovated home has the charm of an old house with modern amenities and upgrades. Come experience downtown Lexington in style and comfort!



We are situated in downtown Lexington and have designated off street parking and a private entrance. This well appointed house has every comfort of home with room for you to spread out and relax. The kitchen comes completely stocked with coffee, essentials, and everything you need to cook a meal.



Guests have access to the main living areas and bedrooms. The basement and attic are off limits to guests. The home is attached to commercial retail space, which shares the parking lot, but commercial areas have separate entrances.



We do not live on the property, but we have a local team who can provide assistance as necessary. We will not interfere with our guests` visit but can always be reached by message, email, or phone.



Historic downtown Lexington is brimming with charm! Take a stroll on the brick sidewalks and peruse the local art galleries and charming retail stores. Grab a cup of espresso, a homemade gelato, or enjoy a meal featuring local meat and produce.



The Beebe House is located in downtown Lexington and is very walkable to and from many local restaurants and attractions. We recommend bringing your own vehicle for getting around, however, as there are very limited public and shared transportation options.



We are a 10 minute drive to the VA Horse Center and a 20 minute drive to Natural Bridge.



Just up Main Street you’ll find Oak Grove Cemetery, the burial place of Stonewall Jackson and a must-see tourist destination for anyone visiting Lexington! The home is attached to commercial retail space, which shares the parking lot, but commercial areas have separate entrances.



Additional note: As a pet-friendly property, we warmly welcome your pets. Please note that a pet fee of $150 will be added to your reservation to ensure thorough cleaning for our next guests, especially those with allergies. This fee will be applied once we update your reservation details to reflect the correct number of guests and pets.​ If you have any questions or need assistance with your reservation, please feel free to reach out.

The Beebe House is definitely a good mix of modern convenience with historic charm. While some parts of the home could use an upgrade (the shower was a bit small with a strange enclosure), they do not take away from all the the house has to offer in space, accommodations, but, most importantly, location! You walk down hill, and you are in the heart of Lexington with restaurants, shops, historical homes, and much more. While being located on Main Street, we never felt as though the streets were busy. We even watched a horse-drawn carriage pass the house on Saturday morning from the front porch. The hot tub is a sorting, but it was soothing after days spent in the nearby mountain ranges. We didn’t use the fire pit or grill, but the extra effort to expand the outdoor space is appreciated.Overall, Beebe House is a great place to stay in Lexington, and I would definitely visit again.

Perfect Lexington Getaway

if you desire to stay in downtown Lexington, I highly recommend this property. It is clean, spacious, and has any amenity needed to enjoy a great getaway experience. The check-in was super easy, and the staff quick to respond to any question. Last but not least, the property possesses an interesting history! We hope to enjoy a repeat in the near future.

Good location

Clean, well stocked kitchen. Beds are queens and probably need new mattresses. Bedside tables are tiny. There is one bathroom upstairs with a small shower and one half bathroom downstairs. The A/C works well despite the high 90s each day. The large kitchen/dining area and TV area were perfect for our couples get together.

Great location and space

Beautiful old house updated with modern amenities without losing the local charm. Restaurants are within easy walks along with the charming downtown. W&L and VMI are also close enough to walk.
