Recommend this hotel

This a regular place I stay when on company business to Lincoln. It's a great location for me, away from the town centre but also a nice walk into town in the evenings. All staff are great, courteous and friendly. Rooms are always comfy and well kept for my usual 4 night stay. Breakfast is always the same but plentiful, fresh and just enough to get me going in the mornings.

It was my husband's 78th birthday and I requested a room over looking the Brayford Marina because we used to spend happy hours boating on that part of the river, and I knew he would have enjoyed it, the receptionist said they did't have one available. They gave us another room, when we got their I unlocked the door and realised it was somebody else's room when I saw the coat and his bag hanging up and the bed turned down and the man was in the bathroom thank god, it was very embarrassing and a big shock. We went back down to the reception and I told the receptionist what had happened, which everybody in the area thought was hilarious, and we where offered a upgrade over looking the car park. WAS'NT HAPPY

We had a wonderful night stay over at the hotel we came to see the cathedral and castle . The hotel had plenty of parking and we received a discount code which allowed us to still go shopping and collect the car the day after for only £10 . The hotel was very clean and modern and the room was spotless . The bed was extremely comfortable as well . The breakfast was a lovely hot buffet with great coffee. Would highly recommend this hotel . I guess that’s why it receives high scores .

Great stay but room was a bit noisy.

Generally good stay only down side was the room was quite noisy. Maybe just because it was a twin room
