A tastefully furnished home, although we rearranged the furniture to make the layout more logical and practical. The living room is quite a bit smaller than the photos suggest; that was often inconvenient because there are very sloping ceilings in the room. The kitchen is spacious enough and the fridge is large. The bathroom and 2 bedrooms are very spacious and the beds are good. It hadn't been cleaned very well, especially with a lot of toothpaste/soap residue, etc. When we were there, it was very hot. And that means extra heat in an attic apartment. Keeping everything closed during the day works somewhat, but you have to open everything up in the evening. Disadvantage: then you can hear the heavy traffic in front of and on the side of the house very clearly. You also get the sun coming in early in the morning: there is little good blackout and sun-blocking window covering. If you don't need to open any windows, you can hardly hear any noise from outside or neighbors: then it is the perfect place. Should you have mobility issues or limited stamina: there are many stairs to the attic apartment. Finally: the apartment itself looks good and is located close to the 'center': you can walk there along the waterfront. The neighborhood and the rest of the house are less chic, although that didn't really matter.
