Second time staying here and it is an absolute joy. In the heart of Alfama, walk to amazing restaurants and sites. Very unique, classy and modern place. Very much enjoy the view and wine bar. Definitely one of the better hotels in the area.

Memmo Alfama is a beautiful boutique hotel well located to explore the city. Staff are exceptional, available work local recommendations and information. Breakfast was excellent, maybe a touch overpriced, but for convenience and quality it was still very good. The main feature of Memmo is the amazing outside terrace overlooking the Tagus and cruise ships. It was a great place to start or finish the evening with a glass of wine. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Memmo Alfama - the staff was fantastic and very friendly and welcoming, and the view from the terrace is beautiful. Jaime was a highlight waiting on us on the terrace and providing great travel advice! Two issues with the property to mention - one, the location is a little difficult, down a narrow road where most Ubers won't go, so you need to take a little walk (absolutely not a big deal). The second was something that happened after our stay. We travelled to other cities in Portugal, and I realized later that I had left my shirt hanging in the closet at Memmo. I messaged through Travelocity but got no response. The week after, we were back in Lisbon and having dinner five minutes away. I called them to ask if I could pick up my shirt after dinner. Even though I gave them my name, dates of stay, and room number, and even though they sent me a picture and I verified it was my shirt, they said they could not give it to me due to a "policy" that only the house manager could give out lost and found, and he/she was not in until 9:30 the next morning. We had to leave at 7:30, so could not wait. People should be able to make practical decisions based on the situation despite "policy"!

Fabulous staff. Beautiful, central site. Lovely view from the rooftop bar and restaurant, again with excellent staff. Our room overlooked the water and cruise ships. The room was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. If we are in Lisbon again in the future we will definitely stay there again.

Property was great, perfect location, amazing terrace, and clean. Staff was amazing and super helpful. Thanks to Ines for some great restaurant recommendations. Hallway got noisy after midnight, but our room was right by the terrace entrance- not a big deal though, just to keep in mind for light sleepers. Really great place!
