This apartment is in a terrific location overlooking a park, adjacent to the beach, and next to the train station. It is clean and comfortable, has a large balcony, and is well equipped. Since I visit Portugal regularly, I plan to stay here again in the future.

We had a great holiday!!

The apartment was great, very conveniently located on the eastern side of the park which is in front of the Casino Estoril. The balcony faces west, so sun in the evening, but not in the morning, which we preferred. The apartment block is in need of an update (the carpet in the hallways is badly marked), the apartment itself is a little shabby, but otherwise convenient and clean. It's on the first floor served by lifts (and stairs). The air conditioning works well and is relatively quiet, and we did not need it overnight (it came on in the early afternoon, whilst we were out and with the curtains shut it was nice and cool for when we returned during the evening). The wifi is reasonably quick - we had no problems with our phones, tablets, etc. It is very convenient for the railway - which is clean, on time and cheap to use. Also, convenient for the beach (just the other side of the railway lines). We many times walked to and back from Cascais, along the esplanade, but also took advantage of the railway when needed - it's a 4 minute trip, they run every 20 minutes, the carriages are clean, the seats comfortable and they're air conditioned! Two very good restaurants Pinto's on our side and Pinto 1 on the opposite side of the park. Oh and a great chinese restaurant a couple of streets away towards Lisbon.

Great base for our festival trip

We used the apartment as our base while we attended the NOS Alive festival down the coast at Alges. It's in a great location and the balcony gives a great view of the gardens, the beach and the sea. It's also very close to Estoril station so getting into Lisbon is easy. It's also a nice walk to Cascais along the promenade. Good things about the apartment: drinking cold beers on the balcony, kitchen has everything you need, air con, powerful shower One thing to look at: the balcony has a metal shutter which was not in use during our stay. It presumably blocks out the late night noise from the nearby Estoril Beach Club. This wasn't a problem for us as we weren't getting back from NOS Alive at around 4am but I would imagine anyone trying to get to sleep around midnight would be disturbed by the noise if the balcony shutters were not working during their stay. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Thanks to Filipa for her quick responses re questions on arrival and departure - made things easy for us.
