The exterior was not safe and one of my colleagues stumbled over some metal that was broken off above ground. She fell and incurred extensive damage to the point of broken skin, bruises and bleeding. When the staff was made aware they acted nonchalantly and ignored the accident until the friends insisted on them getting some ice for the swelling and to cover the area up so no one else should incur a fall. The place was just not clean. The ice machine was broken and we had stains, ripped curtains, scratched up furniture and spots on the carpet.

Close to convention center. Furniture was old, bath drain was rusted and old. Hallways were super cold. Was there for a conference, would not stay there again.

The staff and airport shuttle drivers are great. The food is even good, but hotel rooms are not suitable for a Double Tree. The sheets are dingy and make you itch. There is a smoke smell in the hallways and rooms. I never leave hotel reviews, but this is probably the worst hotel (room wise) I have ever purchased. I will no longer stay at Hilton and will be writing the corporate office to request a refund. If you have a high standard don't stay here.

Old Butts, Cold Showers, Low Tech, Fake Front Desk

Considering this is a Hilton brand this hotel receives 1 star. 2 nights in a row I did not have hot water in my room. The front desk gives you a stunned-disbelief act when you ask if they are having water problems...like "no sir but I can send somebody to check that for you". Every guest is talking about it and there was a line at the from desk all with people talking about not being able to take (hot) showers but the front desk just treats you like you are stupid and can't see them lying to you. How do they wash dishes in the restaurant if they have issues with hot water? The room I had on the 4th floor had two doors (one to the hallway and the rear door to the pool deck) I walked out the rear door one time and later found old nasty cigarette butts on the floor of my room. Later I realized the butts came from the pool deck where they had washed back toward the door threshold in the rain. I KNOW the housekeepers must be aware of this but they obviously do not address it as part of their daily "cleaning" (see photo of threshold attached) Also, for once I needed a USB charge port which you can typically find everywhere in hotels but it was the 2nd day before I finally found a single... one (1) port... on the tiny alarm clock. It gave me the impression that the furniture in this hotel is the same since its build in 1995 (USB came out in 1996)...Is that even possible? Not worthy of the Hilton Brand.

Location is great for walking downtown. The room itself was very small. No room for a chair other than the desk chair up against a built-in desk. There was no room to open suitcases except on the bed. I have stayed at this hotel in the past with a larger room. But I won't book one of these small rooms again.

The Property is dated. The staff wasn’t really on top of customer service. For instance, an ironing board was missing in my room. I called to request it, but it never arrived. also, I wasn’t able to sign in with my Hilton Honors account to get free Internet when I called to ask how I could login they told me that they wrote down a code on my keys sleeve , but nobody told when I was checking in.
