Excellent stylish hotel and great customer service 👍 amazing food and drinks in the restaurant! The only gripe I would have is the quality of the matress, left a lot to be desired... would return if mattresses were upgraded to be more comfortable

The room was lovely and clean, and nice and warm. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day.

The hotel itself isn't too bad, location is okay, the bar and restaurant area is quite nice. The room was cold most of the night, the bed was very uncomfortable and the windows are thin so we heard the club over the road all night.

The staff were outstanding. The restaurants food was lovely and tasty without garlic in everything (a nice change). The room was immaculate but a little warm for our taste. Would definitely visit again.

Really nice stay, room was clean and warm, hotel has a lot of character, location is perfect for pretty much everything in Liverpool and the quality of the food at breakfast, that was cooked to order, was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice breakfast. Room was clean except the shower is not a power shower. It also floods (pipes need declogging) quiet rooms in the week except Saturday night (easy to sleep through though)

Modern bar and restaurant and the breakfast had a good selection with the cooked breakfasts on offer cooked fresh and excellent. However the hotel bedroom booked was called a Superior Double but superior it was not. Yes it had the amenities listed on the hotel website but it was small, had very basic furniture with no fridge or safe but worse was the bed that you could both hear and feel the springs when you sat on it. Two very uncomfortable nights spent on a bed that was uncomfortable with basic bed linen. The Quilt was literally a cover. The room was at the front of the hotel and so noisy we might as well have slept on the street. I know the hotel can’t help that as a busy road but double glaze the top sash window not just the bottom one and provide guests and maybe leave guests ear plugs - supposedly to be superior after all. Visit Liverpool a lot and have stayed in far better hotels in the same area. Would not stay again due to the disappointment of the room generally and basic bed.

Room was lovely but mattress was cheap and would benefit from replacing. Excellent spot to stay with lots of cool bars only a short walk away. Breakfast was also lovely. Lift could do with cleaning and there is a funny smell in the stairway too. Staff were friendly and welcoming

I stayed for two nights in late October. I had requested a room on a lower floor but was given one on the top floor. The (only) elevator was “Out of order” for the duration of our stay. Each day I was informed that it was going to be repaired tomorrow. It wasn’t. There were approximately 90 stairs to our bedroom. There was no heating working in the room. There was a vent stuck open in one of the windows with a constant breeze coming in. I used two cushions to block it. The TV in the room was faulty. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly.

No urgency to repair the hotel’s only lift.

The location was great, very close to Lime Street station and easy to find. The breakfast was lovely. The bed was comfy but unfortunately I didn’t have a good night's sleep as the window didn’t shut properly and so as well as hearing noisy drunken people outside, the window kept making noises as it was moved by the wind.
