Llandudno Esplanade Hotel

The hotel, staff and the room were great, my only issue with the room was it's location. I was in the first floor room above the reception area which had ceiling speakers playing music. This sounded twice as loud through the floorboards of my room than it did in the reception area. That said, the staff turned it off later on at my request so I could get an early night. The only other issue I had was with the breakfast, it was quite expensive and because I don't like a few of the things on a full english I asked for just bacon, sausages and mushrooms. I was saddened to see just one item of each on my plate, yes, one mushroom even though I had requested multiples. I would stay at the Esplanade again in a different room higher up but I wouldn't pay for the breakfasts.

Great location,near shops, resturants,pubs and transport.Near to the "Pier".Hop on off Bus great.Visited Snowdonia National Park by Bus which was stunning.Overall a lovely seaside resort with plenty of nice places to eat,coffee etc.Also good selection of shops.

Bad hotel room in Llandudno

The room was located in the next building, so we had to take a long walk to the room. The room was so noisy as it was located on the above of the restaurant. The music played till midnight and I couldn’t sleep at all. Not a good experience.

Stayed on room 305. Few marks on walls which could easily be cleaned off. Beds comfortable and clean bedding. Bathroom very dark but clean. Furniture somewhat at angles due to uneven floor. Breakfast in the goat varied and fresh and staff Sarah and Gaz coped very well with busy breakfast room on 2 days we stayed. Nothing was too much trouble. Have used restaurant previously and would recommend. Would stay again but request different room.

We really enjoyed our stay would highly recommend, just one thought it would be ideal to have a small fridge in the room so we could've stored drinks as it was really warm and something cold would of been appreciated.

Amazing stay.

We stayed for 2 nights here. Hotel room was clean. It is very close to the beach and the pier. Staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the restaurant was great and the staff at the goat were amazing as well. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Overall, very good. Foyer and restaurant great. Breakfast really good and well worth paying for. Staff kind and helpful. Room perfectly serviceable. Location excellent. A couple of minor points for improvement - hallways shabby with dirty carpets, our room had a wet room / disabled shower - would have preferred normal shower or bath.

Very dilapidated and dirty

It was so dirty and dilapidated, we spent our first night finding a different hotel. I’m shocked that average reviews are as good as they are. Carpets have tears, fraying, and copious stains. Railing, jambs, and all high touch areas are grimy with chipped paint.
