The location is ideal, offering privacy and seclusion on a quiet country (paved) road and yet only 3.4 mile off US Route 33 (only 1 mile off S.R. 595). Approximately a 30 min drive to the many Caves, Trails and Rock Formations that has made Hocking Hills Famous! To further add to the appeal of this unique location, It is located within 10 miles from 7 Major Wayne National Forest Trail Heads and the Brass Ring Golf Course and Restaurant is located only 7.3 miles from your cabin door. So whether you wish to relax in front of the fireplace, sit around a campfire, take a hike through the 60 acre woods of the cabin property, play a round of golf or visit the many nearby state parks and attractions, Aspen Retreat is the perfect spot for it all.

House was dirty. As soon as you walk in there’s an odor, had to buy a candle and left it behind for others. Linen had hair on it, toilet bowls full of mold, shower drains with hair wrapped all around. Upstairs jacuzzi tube with no water pressure, would take two hours to fill I’m sure. Hot tub jets lack pressure, tub under filled. Nice location for hocking hills and in a secluded area. Friends made the stay pleasant. There was an envelope for gratuity for the house keepers which normally would give but the place wasn’t clean when I entered and cleaning fee when booking was high.

Great quiet place in the woods. This one was big enough for 2 families with kids. Tranquil hills cabins have always been immaculate and host is always very responsive if need arise. (Pool table is getting a bit worn out but we hade a great time. Hiking in the winter is awesome too.
