Family & Pet Friendly Restored Cottage in East Mayo with 4* Bord Failte Award

Built by the Congested District Board in 1903, this beautiful cottage has been completely renovated to provide pet and family friendly self catering which has a 4* rating with the Irish Tourist Authority. Situated in the small village of Bracklagh, it has been finished to a very high standard with a new bathroom and kitchen, ensuite wet room, wood/peat burning stove, saorview tv, bluetooth speaker, digital Roberts radio, linen & towels from The White Company, underfloor heating via a groundwater heat pump and most of the electricity provided by a ground mount solar array.. A refurbished hay barn is ideal for parking, while a second, lockable barn is available to store bikes, surfboards and the like. Bracklagh is very quiet and a haven for wildlife – particularly hares and well behaved dogs are VERY welcome.
This cottage's great location gets high marks from our customers. During your stay, you'll be close to St Patrick's Church. Features include laundry facilities. The cottage includes amenities such as free WiFi and a kitchen.
