No Aircon, restaurant closed

I had booked this hotel especially for the ability to dine in the restaurant, as we had completed a 10 hour drive en-route to the UK from Sweden. On arrival we were surprised to be told that the restaurant was closed for a local festival. Why were we not informed that before booking? Therefore we were told that we should travel to the neighbouring town to get a meal! Unbelievable really. The next issue was that our room was uncomfortably hot. Note: to others, rooms here do not have air conditioning! I asked reception if they might have a fan to use, we were abruptly told no. A hot night then it was for us. Everything else was fine.

Lækkert sted - god mad og gode senge.

Ligger i en helt ‘almindelig’ tysk landsby ved siden af en mølle - men tilkørsel fra motorvejen. Rigtig fine rammer, deko og i sær rigtig god mad om aftenen - og vildt lækker morgenmad. Ikke noget udover ‘det sædvanlige’ - det var bare virkelig i orden. Supergode senge. Der ku’ godt smækkes op for lidt deko på værelset - væggene var helt bare - men mindre vigtigt, når alt andet er ok.

War in dem Hotel für zwei Nächte für eine Geschäftsreise. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Zimmer sehr geräumig und sauber. Frühstück war absolut ausreichend vom Angebot und in guter Qualität. Ein Restaurant gibt es auch, dieses habe ich jedoch nicht genutzt.

Wenn man ein teureres Hotel wegen des Wellness-Angebots bucht, dann sollte das Angebot auch zur Verfügung stehen oder aber auf der Homepage deklariert werden, dass es wegen Renovierung geschlossen ist. So verleitet man Besucher das Hotel zu buchen und dann wird wird enttäuscht.
