The nearby coastline is a Marine Protected area and the sea is famous for its turquoise colour and the island of Tavolara which dominates the coastline. This picturesque village gravitates around its small marina, where the ferries depart and has many boutiques, restaurants and bars.
There are also many sporting activities available nearby from surfing and diving to horse riding, tennis and golf. Two of Northern Sardinia’s most famous beaches are also within easy reach, La Cinta (an 11-minute drive) and Lu Impostu (a 9-minute drive).
