The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the bed was very small for 2 people, the plug sockets were positioned very unhelpfully compared to the bed (above the headboard and high on the wall to one side so the cable didn’t reach the bedside table). It’s excellently located. The shower tray was flooding and the towels were quite scratchy. The walls were very thin so you’d hear everything going on outside your room and in anyone nearby. Overall, not a comfortable stay but if you’re travelling from King’s Cross or St Pancras and just need somewhere to sleep, it’s cheap and convenient.

The positives were, nice reception staff, comfy mattress, location ie close to railway stations and cost. Negative for us, room was in basement so warm and damp smelling. Aircon was very noisy. It’s apparent that the owners were trying to make it more pleasant than it was. Potpourri for smell and apples and biscuits in the room.

Small but comfortable room, tiny but adequate en-suite. Everything clean and tidy. Heavy curtains a bonus as I am sensitive to light when asleep. Very quiet position. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. I will be happy to stay there again if I need a stay in the area.

Great place to stay. An amazing location near the St Pancras Train station. Amazing staff as well. Rooms were clean. Rooms include a bathroom and a bed, no microwave or fridge so that’s the only issue. Rooms are a big small to but you don’t spend much time in them. Overall a great experience.

Overall a wonderful stay! rooms were clean and staff was friendly and welcoming. Only problem was the plugs on the top floor didn't work but other than that there were no issues!

I had a twin room, which seems increasingly difficult to book. The room was smallish, but had everything that was needed, and seemed clean and in a good state of repair. The smart TV connected to the Wifi so we could stream programmes which is always a plus. Bathroom was small but modern, with a very good shower. We were on the second floor with stair access only. Beds were a bit soft for my taste, but the biggest issue was the beds being on unlocked wheels meaning as you move on the bed they would move across the room.

Decent hotel

Very happy, would use again. If youre looking for a place to sleep on a trip to london this fits the bill nicely. No frills but for the price it does what you need.

Staff is friendly and tries but they dont have a lot to work with - There is a certain smell in the entire building, some of the rooms smell like mold, everything seems like it was made without love for detail and very cheap. For example: the tiles were covered in paint, the shower/water temperature regulator was hard to move so you almost got boiled ..overall I would say: maybe NOT

Clean and well presented room. Great location for Kings Cross station, just a 4 minute walk. Location lovely. Hotel looking tired in hallways and reception area though no issues with room however a bit dated. Very clean though.

Perfect Kings Cross hotel.

Excellent service by the reception team who man the desk 24/7 and willingly provide any help requested. The triple room provided plenty of space and the shower / bathroom was very good. The shower offered hot water via a good powerful shower and the demister mirror worked wonderfully well. The bed was comfortable and offered a good nights sleep. Ideal location within 5 mins of Kings Cross an St. Pancras stations. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the future.

I really liked the price and location of this property. It was cheap and near the kings cross station. The room didn't have some facilities such as hair dryers and refridgerators but you can still get the service from the front desk, reasonable considering the price. The staffs were 24/7 and very kind. I really liked the stay here.

Horrendous, did not sleep a single minute. Walls are paper thin, could here next door physically abusing his girlfriend for the entire evening. The whole hotel could hear, yet no police were called. Awful experience.

Comfortable and clean enough. Location was very good for Kings Cross. These old London hotels need overhauling. The rooms are far too small to meet health and safety standards. No lifts and stairs very steep. They are like rabbit warrens. I'd hate to be caught in a fire in these places.
