The shower head was broken and very difficilt to use. It cant have been used for a while as a dead insect came out of the tap. Also overcharged for drinks in the bar.

Comfortable Hotel in Central London

Enjoyed our stay at the Bedford Hotel. Excellent location very close to Russell Square Tube station. Our room was very comfortable, overlooking the gardens in the rear of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, a lot choice, with cold and hot options. Very good coffee and delicious croissants. The only issue we encountered was controlling the hot water in the shower, it tended to get very hot and needed to be mixed with a lot of cold water. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Excellent location, close to transportation and walkable to Coventry Harden and the British Museum. Did not like the noise level, ask for a room not facing the street. We are on the 5th floor and the room was very hot, no control in the room to adjust. Other than that, would stay again knowing what I know now.
