The room was freezing cold when I first got in it at about 10:00 p.m.
I had to get into bed very quickly, fold the double quilt in half and tuck everything inside in order to warm up. The small radiator in the room was switched on but clearly hadn't been on long.

Hotel a little tired by just fine for weeknight business away night
Whether in Reception or the dining room, I encountered half a dozen different members of staff and all were outstanding.

Thd hotel room was ok, heati g didnt seem to work, room was very cold. Food was ok but very expensive for what it was, bottle of beer £7.50...wow.
Nice location, could do with updating as a hotel.

This hotel is looking very tired and was poorly serviced. There was black mould all around the back of the bathroom basin and a smear of something on the inside of the bath that I needed to clean. The bath plug hole was completely blocked with previous guests’ hair. I don’t know how they justify the premium pricing for rooms here because this place has become quite run down. I’ve stayed in cleaner and better budget hotels.
The restaurant was good however. We had a very pleasant meal.
