The room had a double bed a radiator with the taps removed so you couldn’t heat the bedroom. The double bed was rammed up against the radiator also. The shower was filthy and stank of sewerage. THE FIRE ALARM either wasn’t connected or the battery wasn’t working! The carpet was thick with dirt and grease. The mattress was new and the sheets clean. If a hotel inspector visits I think they would be closed down. Never ever again. The temperature that night was below zero
Quilt only 1” thick in an unheated room with single glazing and the temperature was -2 outside. The room had no thermostats or anything to turn the rad on with as they had been removed
Dirty throughout. Shower stank of sewerage! I slept in my clean clothes, showered wearing socks (which I threw away after!

Rated check in poor as they wanted cash to park the car then reception questioned me on it before I left, the hotel is very old and tired the shower screen is covered in limescale and black mould on the tiles, honestly one of the noisiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in I hardly slept!!

Heating went off room was freezing. Dirty and grubby I didn’t expect much because it was cheap. I understand that but it was awful. Beware they want cash for the parking £20 for the night will only take cash.

It is what it is a budget hotel which needs updating but for one night it was fine. The beds are terrible and springs from the mattresses dig in but you get what you pay for

This hotel is awful. Smells bad. Dated furnishings. No soap in bathroom. Shower head falling off. View of derelict properties.. list goes on - and I paid £120 a night
