Staff friendly, room itself large and room and bathroom were clean. However there is no double or secondary glazing so as the room was on the front of the building it wasn’t a quiet room. There was also no desk in the room to work on so room not really suitable for someone there on business. Public areas felt a little tired but also appreciate it’s an old building. Well located for Kings Cross St Pancras station.

We were able to leave our luggage when we arrived in London and before we checked in, and when we checked out. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, towels changed daily. We had an en-suite triple room on top floor (no lift) - 3 single beds which were very comfortable and the price was good value for 3 adults. Small room and no wardrobe or drawers for clothes, but this wasn’t a problem for a short stay - all we needed was a bed and bathroom. Bathroom was really a small wet room, and entire floor got wet, but it was manageable. Small breakfast room but no other facilities. Good location close to Kings Cross/St Pancras, and 20-25 minute walk to Oxford Street, Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus. 5 min walk to Russell Square tube station. Overall a great value stay, comfortable and clean.

The hotel only puts on heat for 2 hours in the evening until 9:30. I was shivering every night. This was one of the worst stays I have ever experienced. The hotel is very old and dated. I did love the location and the staff was very friendly and tried to be accommodating as much as they could.

Our room was great although booking for 2 people and was upgraded to a room with a double and a single bed in it was a little random. Very clean and with all the amenities we required!
Absolutely beautiful street!

Clean room. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Just needed some extra milk for the room to make tea, but was arranged by the staff member at reception with no problems. Great location, with shops, cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Close to the underground. Would stay again.
