The best thing about this property is the staff, everything else is the worst I’ve ever experienced. The rooms are tiny, the beds are tiny, and the material condition is super old. They need to put some money into this property and update it. Worst hotel I ever stayed at. The Staff are very kind, attentive, and try to help you as much as they can to provide comfort. It seems they wear many hats while working there. Seems like over worked but underpaid situation. I’m going to keep them in my prayers.

First impressions

Arrived on Sat 23rd Aug at approx 2.30pm - first impressions: entrance, waiting/dinning area dirty and in need of vacuuming, dusty chairs needing a good wiping down properly. Did notice the carpets in waiting/breakfast area being vacuumed at about 4pm. As down stairs wasn’t looking too great was worried about cleanliness of the bedroom. Bed sheets were clean and comfortable but found the mesh backed desk chair was dusty had dried up food wiped on it. The main concern was the beside lights one of which wouldn’t stay on (without having to give it a tap or two on the side - clearly something not right with the electrics. We found that some lights would switch on and others wouldn’t . This was reported to reception on Monday evening and we were immediately given a replacement room. On check out we were asked how our stay was - the above info was given. The Reception/Manager gave us an 50% discount on the cost of our 3 day stay this was unexpected but much appreciated.

Great value. Staff were polite and helpful at all times. Furnishing ‘tired’ and carpet in bedroom stained. Breakfast basic but hot and plentiful. Next to Sainsbury’s which have fast ev chargers.

Ideal for the stadium

Booked last minute as hotel originally booked was closed when arrived - found this and closer to where I wanted to go. Friendly staff, very clean, rooms smelt fresh and shower was great. Will be using again when I come and watch the Spurs

People smoking at the entrance. This caused issues as I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke. This was also right outside my room. The room was dirty, very small for the price. Hair and debris in the tub. The water hardly came out to fill for a bath. The water never got hot. The hotel refused to give a refund even though I checked out several days early. The person at the desk never even asked me why I was leaving. They did not care. I would never choose this location and I cannot recommend it to anyone else. This was the worst place I have ever stayed. Giving Holiday Inn Express a bad name and reputation.

We stayed for a concert at tottenhams stadium. Staff were helpful when asking best way to get there. One staff member informed us of the bus service across the main road it was two stops away and a few minutes walk to the stadium. Breakfast was also very good.
