Ambulance staff and hotel staff knocked on my door at 1am and insisted I opened as they thought I had called for an ambulance. This was not the case - they had the wrong room. Surely they could have checked on the system and seen that the person staying in that room was not the person who made the call!

In particular, Pay stood out as exceptionally helpful and brilliant in ensuring that all my needs were met effortlessly. Her professionalism and genuine care made a lasting impression. The rooms at the hotel were notably comfortable, providing a tranquil sanctuary after a long flight. The bed was plush, and the modern amenities made my stay particularly enjoyable. I appreciated the attention to detail, from the cleanliness to the thoughtful layout of the room, ensuring a cozy and relaxing experience. Overall, the Ibis Hotel Heathrow on Bath Road is a fantastic choice for anyone needing a convenient and comfortable stay near the airport. It never happened as complete disaster in online led in on wrong dater booking as the confirmation was for wrong date and I couldn’t get hold of a real person to correct it for me,

Airport hotel convenient for a layover. Shuttle (GBP 6) is only running once an hour, so I chose public transport, which is available, if you can walk your luggage and yourself the 300 or so yards on either bookend of the journey, manage the few steps, etc. For myself, no problem, but when I travel with my elderly mother, I will use a taxi instead. It is just a few miles from terminal 2 to the hotel. My room was quiet, which is amazing, given the location. Disappointing was that I had to pay GBP 15 for an early checkin. They are strict with the 3 pm checkin time. The food in the restaurant for dinner was simple, microwave fare, but salad was fresh greens, which was appreciated. British seasoning (pepper and maybe salt), but nothing else. But I did not feel like venturing out or walking about in the dark, so I stayed put. Overall, everything was professional, and therefore quite suitable for what I needed. Thank you

Terrible check in queue.

There were 100 people all trying to check in when I arrived. The Wye was horrendous and moving slowly. Most people were from a cancelled BA flight. All arrived at once. Only the receptionist who came along the queue asking if there were any non BA people waiting in the hour long queue. Hats off to her and her initiative.
