Location perfect

The perfect choice for our overnight stay. We were going to Shepherds bush Empire. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the train station and then approx 4 mins walk to the Empire. It was clean, modern and comfortable.

On a previous trip, I was on the third floor; this trip, I was on the first floor. The rooms were identical in style, but the first floor room looked like it had experienced much more use since the most recent refurbishment. It was still fine, I’d happily stay there again, it was still a comfortable and clean place to stay, but there was definitely a difference in property condition between the two rooms.

Two Night Stay

Stayed for a couple of nights to attend a concert at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire which is two minutes away. Hotel is convenient for the tube and buses. Room was clean and quiet and overall great value. Breakfast was all you can eat buffet, which, although not great, is adequate to get you going. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful, couldn’t have been better. Would stay again.

The hotel is fine (basically, not terrible but not great). No mini fridge which is a shame as we brought refrigerated breakfast items that we had to eat at dinner time. We paid for the continental breakfast which again was fine, the food was okay, lukewarm mostly, and an okay selection. The beds were an ok level of comfort but the bedding was very warm and the pillows weren’t supportive and had to be doubled up. There was no bath mat which had to be requested so had to use a towel. The area is a bit off putting, loud, unfriendly and slightly dangerous. Overall, it was fine but we are not planning on visiting London again because of how stressful and busy it can get, so no plans to visit the hotel again.

The only positive of this place is the location. The hotel is dated and dirty. The rooms are incredibly dated and small. Everything creaks! When anyone passed in the hallway it would make the floor in our room creak like someone was walking in the room. The bathroom door was so hard to open and close, you had to slam it! Making it impossible to not wake companions up when you went to the toilet in the night. Shower was grimey and lacking any sort of pressure. It's all dirty and crumbiling away from years of use. Honestly, one of the worst places I've ever stayed.
