Beautiful location in the outskirts of London. Huge property, the biking trails running through the city of London start right at the property. Our room was standard, not big but clean and comfortable. The only slight disappointment- we have not received the 20% discount on food as Expedia promised. This was minor though. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When in London, I would definitely recommend this place over centrally located hotels.

Charming and repeatable!

Hotel beautiful. Hotel area halls need an update to match the rest of the space. Bed was, "like a cloud," which might be good for some but uncomfortably soft if you have a bad back. Clean, well-outfitted bathroom. Reception and restaurant staff exceptionally friendly and professional. Had to stay while my husband was in hospital. Will return, hopefully next time for better reason.

Little gem

It was a last minute stay. Me and my daughter were pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice, small but nice. Buffet breakfast was really good with lots of choices.

We have stayed a number of times... property is stunningly beautiful . Staff were wonderful, easy check in and out. Dining staff were warm, friendly and welcoming! I appreciated having the water and coffee each day. Grabbed a coffee for our trip home, as we left early in the morning. Only thing I noticed was the carpets in the halls were worn and tired looking and could use a refresh. But that may be in the works. Grounds were clean and manicured. A little gem in the city, doesn't feel like you're even in the city, surrounded with trees and nature!

Wanted to have a drink (brought from home) at the indoor lounge area on third floor as the outdoor patio was closed. Was told by staff that this wasn't allowed. Seemed a little strict as we were part of an older group (age 50+) of people. I realize rules are put in place for specific reasons but a little judgement when enforcing would be good.
