London trip to East Sheen

The location of this flat was excellent for us. My family lives a mere half mile away so we were able to Lime bike/walk. It’s close to the following locations:- Waitrose and Tesco grocery stores (very short walk)- Richmond Park, beautiful walking/cycling, about .5 - .75 mile walk-Mortlake train station, it is a less than 10 min walk (quicker if you Lime bike), a 40 min train ride from there to Waterloo in the heart of LondonFlat has a lovely kitchen and we ate all breakfasts and some dinners there using the stove and oven/cook ware etc. East Sheen is a quieter option to staying right in London if that’s what you’re looking for. Keep in mind the pics of property are taken with wide angle lens so space looks bigger. But it is a gracious amount of space. We are a family of 5 and it was what we needed. I admit it would be a squeeze to fit the listed number of 6 occupants. That said, we will definitely look for this listing again on our next trip to UK!

On the listing it shows AC, two king sized beds, and a double bed in the main area which we assumed was a sofa bed. In reality there is a queen sized bed, a full sized or double bed, and in the main area there is a couch and an air mattress that is a twin size. My husband is quite tall so he literally has to sleep scrunched up or with his feet off the mattress on any bed that is not a king sized bed and we were traveling with 5-a couple, a grandma, an uncle, and a child so we did need all three beds that were in the listing. However, the beds were comfortable, the flat is beautiful and clean, and host has good communication with guests so if the listing had been accurate I would’ve given a 5/5. Also the dryer function on the combination washer and dryer was quite confusing so I would leave time to visit the laundromat down the street to dry clothes because the dryer in the flat worked 1/5 times and kept rewashing the clothes instead with the 2 in 1 cycle and it takes a minimum of 3 hours for said cycle. Location is also close to the Mort Lake station for easy access to transit.
