Nice hotel

When you compare how much you pay on this hotel room with everyone else you will realize it is not gonna be a luxurious one. And I am so glad for it , because this is one of the cheapest hotel on the area , if not the cheapest one , very good location , and free breakfast. So if you're rich and posh maybe this may not be your hotel room. But if you are not rich (like myself :-) )this is a very good choice. Oh by the way there is a free coffee vending machine at your service as well.

Äänieristys oli huono. Kun respan työntekijä tuli töihin klo 5 ja pisti radion auki, ei respan vieressä olevassa huoneessamme saanut enää nukuttua. Iltaisin yläkerran asukas taas piti hereillä. Kokolattiamatot olivat likaisia ja nuhruisia. Henkilökunta oli hyvin ystävällistä, joka pelasti paljon.

Sijainti on loistava Victorian aseman vieressä. Buckinghamin palatsille kävelee kilsan ja alue on hiljaisen ja rauhallisen oloinen. Aamiainen on riittävä ja ok. Palvelu ihan hyvä. Silti on hyvä tajuta että halpa asuminen on halpaa asumista. Talo on huonokuntoinen, kapeat portaikot ovat vinossa joka suuntaan ja huonossa kunnossa, huoneen lattia vino ja epätasainen. Kaikki on ilmeisesti vain peitetty uudella kerroksella kokolattiamattoa. Osassa huoneita remontti meneillään, kamat levällään. Korvatulpat tarvitaan jos et halua kuunnella vessan vetämistä ja suihkuja. Kaikki nuhjuista ja kulahtanutta. Suihkusta erittäin haastavaa saada siedettävän lämpöistä vettä. Ikkunassa yksi lasi ja tiivisteenä toimi froteepyyhe. Vessa pieni, ovi auki joutuu iso mies istumaan. Mutta, ei luteita eikä torakoita. Mitä pitäisi remontoida? Kaikki. Hinta vaan olis sen jälkeen tupla.

5 jours à Londres

Nous avons passé 5 jours à Londres avec nos 2 enfants. L'hôtel est idéalement placé près de la gare Victoria. C'est très pratique quand on arrive à l'aéroport Gatwick. Le personnel est très agréable, le petit déjeuner est également très bien avec soit petit déj anglais, soit toast avec confiture. La chambre est faite chaque jour. La déco est assez vieillotte mais c'est propre et suffisant. Nous y étions que pour dormir donc franchement c'était très bien.

Peruskorjausta kaipaava hotelli hyvällä sijainnill

Cons: Peruskorjaus ulkoa ja sisältä tekisi hyvää.
Hotelli on hyvällä sijainnilla lähellä Victorian asemaa. Itse hotelli ja huoneet olivat ihan OK. Hotelli on kuitenkin selkästi peruskorjauksen tarpeessa. Oma huoneemme oli muutoin hyvä, mutta huoneen WC:ssä oli hometta ja sen vuoksi WC oli homeisen hajuinen. WC:n ilmastointilaite oli hyvin äänekäs ja ehkä viallinen, mikä saattaa selittää hometta. Mikäli ovi jäi auki, oli koko huone hyvin tunkkainen. Tunkkaista hajua ei ollut muualla hotellissa tai niissä muissa huoneissa, joihin pääni pistin. Aamiainen oli yksinkertainen, mutta runsas ja sen sai listatilauksesta huolimatta nopeasti. Wifi toimi hotellin alakerroksissa kohtalaisesti, ja yläkerrassa ei ollenkaan.

Das Stanley House ist ein ganz angenehmes Hotel, gut gelegen in Strandnähe zwischen Boscombe und dem Stadtzentrum von Bournemouth. Die nahe Strandpromenade lädt jederzeit zu einem Spaziergang ein.
